Wall Fixed End Plate | DDA Compliant Key Clamp | 42mm

This key clamp fitting is a flush wall fixed end plate which returns a wall mounted handrail through 90 degrees to terminate a run.  The clamp is designed for use with 42.4mm diameter tube and is specifically designed for use on a handrail system that is required to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and the Building Regulations Pt. M:2004.

The most common use for this fitting is when terminating a wall-mounted run of DDA compliant handrailing.

As the plate is designed to be 'flush' with the 42mm rail, 1 no. A009/7 or 1 no. EL/7 fitting is required to be used in conjunction with the end plate the elbow. 

NB - Please note that these fittings are stocked in a galvanised finish.  In order to meet with the criteria of the regulations (whereby a requirement to 'visually contrast with the surroundings') it is strongly recommended that all components in a DDA compliant handrail system are polyester powder coated.  We offer a powder coating service - please contact us with your requirements.
