Handrail Bracket / Wall Plate | DDA Compliant Key Clamp | 42mm
The handrail bracket key clamp is designed act as a support for wall mounted, DDA compliant handrails. The clamp is designed for use with 42.4mm tube and has been specifically designed for use on a handrail system that is required to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and the Building Regulations Pt. M:2004.
This fitting is most commonly used at the top of wheelchair access ramps to adjust the direction of the handrails from a gradient / slope to a level landing area.
NB - Please note that these fittings are stocked in a galvanised finish. In order to meet with the criteria of the regulations (whereby a requirement to 'visually contrast with the surroundings') it is strongly recommended that all components in a DDA compliant handrail system are polyester powder coated. We offer a powder coating service - please contact us with your requirements.
